Southland Federal Credit Union (SFCU) Board of Directors, Management and Staff understand this year has been a difficult one for us all. The COVID-19 pandemic has impact all of us, one way or another. We have lost some members due to COVID-19; others have been financially impacted with cut hours at work or loss of job due to business closure. During this pandemic, we have never stopped providing financial services to our members. Our drive-thru services continue to remain open with our normal operational hours to serve you. Lobby access continues to be limited by appointment only, for services that require member signatures, such as for new account opening, loan documents and notary services. If you need assistance please call 936-639-2311 and our staff will connect you to someone who can help with your financial needs.
While the safety of both our members and staff are among our top priorities, the COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in both loss of income and in some cases job loss to some of our members. SFCU is here for you, we understand this may be a financial difficult time, please allow us to assist you during this time of need.
• If you are currently struggling to make your loan payments, please contact SFCU at 936-629.2311. You may be eligible for an emergency hardship deferral.
• If you have lost your job or your income has been significantly reduced the loan department will work with you to determine if you qualify for a refinance of your loan to reduce your monthly payment.
At SFCU we are here for you during this crisis. “Where people helping people really matters!” It is not just a slogan, but a core value in all we do to help our members with their financial needs. Serving our members since 1963. We know you have a choice and we are glad you made Southland Federal Credit Union yours.
